What is Resource Extraction?

Metal resource extraction is the process of extracting and refining natural resources. From the Copper age to The Bronze and Iron ages, humanity has tracked its technological progress through its ability to extract different metals from ores with New resource extraction processes emerging roughly once a century. Currently, the vast majority of resource extraction on earth relies on chemical reactions to separate metals from ore, a process that generates pollution and emits greenhouse gasses like carbon dioxide. In space applications, these reactions also require consumable chemicals, increasing mass and significantly driving up costs associated with space delivery. To address these challenges, Lunar Resources set out to develop new industrial processes using pulsed power through the implementation ITS the Helix Driver™ TECHNOLOGY.

Lunar Resources innovative resource extraction processes* leverage the Helix Driver™ TECHNOLOGY's ultra-high energy output to eliminate the need for chemical reagents. This technology heats, melts and separates ore into its constituent elements, enabling the extraction of METALS fROM terrestrial ores, Martian regolith, and lunar regolith.*
